East Kent Printmakers at Whitstable Museum

This is a really lovely exhibition with a sister exhibition running at Hern Bay Museum. There is certainly talent in Kent!

Student Auction

We are all preparing for our annual student auction which is a fundraiser for our degree show catalogue. I am helping on the auction team. Everyone is encouraged to enter a piece of work and I have done an A2 print. I am also going to enter a linocut print.

Let's hope that we succeed in raising enough funds!

Going domestic!

These are on thick canvas and I am now going to see how it works with a calico canvas (thinner). More experiments! still working on the film but encountering some problems with the new program.

I have been experimenting with installations in the corridor outside of the studio. There are two works evolving here! More work to be done.

And now a carpet is becoming part of the equation.

Stass Paraskos

Stass Paraskos started up an Art school in Cyprus which has strong links with UCA. He also taught at UCA Canterbury in the 70's. So when we heard of his sad death a couple of weeks ago it seemed a fitting thing to create a little shrine. 

There are now even more tributes.

Rouen Expo

My piece got handed in last Friday. Just a little print to tie in with the main exhibition which is a collaboration with Germany.

It is roughly A3 size. (signed on the back!)
